University
Ulyanovsk State Medical University is the youngest non-profit public higher education institute in Russia. It was founded in 1988 with the adoption of the Council of Ministers to unbolt in Ulyanovsk branch of Moscow State University. The institute is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
The university is established in Ulyanovsk Oblast in the Volga region. USU focuses on the moral, cultural, scientific development as well as the cultural values of the society. It enhances values through quality training and outlining the future enlargement of the main sectors of the social infrastructure and the economy of the region.

About
Ulyanovsk formerly Simbirsk, is the capital city of the Ulyanovsk Oblast located in the European part of Russia, on the banks of the Volga River and Sviyaga River, standing on the Privolzhsky hills. It is a beautiful city having natural sight scenes, modern architecture, and an interesting history to look upon. The city has numerous museums that represent the beauty of the city’s culture, history, and architecture. So, it can rightly be called the city of Museums.

Medical Degree at ULYANOVSK State Medical University: ULYANOVSK State Medical University awarded an MD degree to medical students which is equivalent to MBBS in India. It is a 6 years degree program which is recognized by other countries too. It includes one year of internship.
International Recognition: A medical study in Russia is accredited by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the World Health Organization (WHO). It permits Indian students to apply for FMGE and MCI Screening test and USMLE.

Co-curricular Activities: USU offers several sports and cultural activities to students like sports and fitness clubs, football pitches, aqua club, ground for football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and fitness. The activities are conducted hand to hand with their medical studies.
